The El Paso Opera is proud to announce an End-of-Year Contribution drive.
Donations to the opera before December 31 are tax deductible and will go directly
toward funding the spring production of The Marriage of Figaro at UTEP’s
Magoffin Auditorium on March 15 , 17 and 18, 2012.
El Paso Opera continues traditional partnerships with various arts and educational
groups, such as UTEP, the El Paso Museum of Art and the El Paso school districts.
The opera also hires more than 300 people per production, providing the type of
jobs rarely seen in El Paso — skilled theater arts work.
The opera also has reached a high point of ï¬nancial health during Mr. Grabarkewitz’s
administration, due in large part to the support of loyal patrons. In November 2010, El
Paso Opera was proud to announce that it had erased an operating budget deï¬cit
that once ran as high as $93,000.
