March & May 2010: Shop Opera
“Shop Opera” was launched in March 2010 and gave local businesses the opportunities to contribute 10% of the total purchase by customers who ask them to support the opera as a tax-deductible donation made to the El Paso Opera. Businesses that participated in our first annual “Shop Opera” month received two complimentary tickets to our Porgy and Bess Suite Gala Benefit Concert’s opening night, while the opera encouraged customers from all over the region to visit their shop.
