DONOR BENEFITS
Support El Paso Opera
Great opera needs great support. Donate today to create opera for everyone, and enjoy exclusive benefits!
Why donate to El Paso Opera? We are a small non-profit arts organization that is funded primarily through donations. Many people wonder why we need donations when we sell tickets to our big shows! We all know opera is beautiful but did you know that it is also very expensive? If we priced tickets high enough to cover the costs of the show no one would want to buy them! We price our tickets at levels our audience is comfortable with but those prices will cover less that 40% of the cost of our show. We turn to donations from companies, foundations, and individuals to help us cover the costs. Therefore, we literally could not do what we do without YOU!
Community Impact
Donations to El Paso Opera are vital to the continuation of all our programming that contributes directly to El Pasoan’s quality of life! Art and music are not just something that brings us joy—research shows a reduction in anxiety, blood pressure, and pain while also improving mood and sleep. In addition to these personal benefits, our shows contribute a large amount to the local economy by employing multiple artists, multiple crew members, and renting city venues. Our events help drive sales at surrounding restaurants, bars, parking garages, and hotels. By contributing to El Paso Opera, you will be directly affecting the quality of life for this community while helping us support the local economy.
Why donate to El Paso Opera?
With a small organization like ours you can easily see the effect of your donation. It can be seen in the details of the shows we produce; the salaries we pay our staff and the programming we offer the community. Your donation is a part of every single one of these.
How to donate:
To donate via credit card, process your donation directly from this webpage in the section below. Checks may be made payable to El Paso Opera and mailed to PO Box 5106, El Paso, Texas 79953. Thank you in advance!

Title announced soon!– We will announce our main show for the season VERY SOON–but don’t worry, it is a beloved classic that we know you will be excited for! Producing grand opera on a large stage comes with significant costs. To manage these expenses without compromising artistic excellence, we have relocated our performances to St. Rogers Depot. By transforming this event venue into a fully realized theatrical space, we not only maintain high production standards but also elevate the audience experience through amenities such as a VIP Lounge, attentive service, and convenient parking. This season we will expand to five performances spanning January 30-February 8, 2026.
Artist Ambassador Tour – ‘Artist Ambassador’ is the new name for our Resident Artist program because what are our local artists if not ambassadors for us in the community? Next season our talented Artist Ambassadors will star in their own production! This one-act opera will be specially designed for a citywide tour, bringing live performances to a variety of venues across El Paso. We’re thrilled to showcase their artistry and give them the spotlight they deserve! Title announced soon!
PLUS:
- Continued free programming via our treasured #CurbsideOpera program bringing art into the community and brightening people’s day all year long!
- Continuation of our Education program with Youth Night at the Opera and a dedicated Teaching Artist bringing opera into the schools. Youth Night at the Opera is a personal favorite as we watch children experience the magic happen on stage. The excitement and smiles are contagious! New this year is our behind the scenes ‘Secrets of the Stage’ program to share how the on-stage magic happens.
