El Paso Opera began in 1992 as Opera a la Carte, sharing excerpts of classical opera with the community.

After strong public support showed a desire for fully staged productions, the organization expanded into a full opera company in 1994.

Since then, El Paso Opera has continued to present high-quality art and entertainment while staying true to its role as a community service organization.

We are proud to serve El Paso, Texas, and the surrounding bi-national and bilingual communities through performances, education, and community programs.
