About the Event

Scheming, singing, and romantic mayhem take center stage in El Paso Opera’s The Barber of Seville.

When the clever barber Figaro, the one everyone keeps hollering for, teams up with the lovesick Count Almaviva to outwit the scheming Dr. Bartolo and win the heart of the spirited Rosina, the result is an irresistible whirlwind of disguises, plot twists, and delicious comedy.

Rossini’s score bubbles over with energy, including dazzling vocal runs that tumble and sparkle like champagne. Pure joy, pure mischief, pure opera.

El Paso Opera returns to St. Rogers Depot to transform the event venue into a fully realized theatrical space. This allows us to maintain high production standards while elevating the audience experience through amenities such as a VIP Lounge, attentive service, and convenient parking.
